What do you like to do in your spare time?
I grew up playing many different sports and continue to play softball, ringette and volleyball. I started playing golf a couple years ago and really enjoy doing that, as well as camping and fishing with my friends and family.
What inspires you?
My son , my child on the way, my husband and family and friends all inspire me.
Why are you involved with Home on the Range?
I feel like it brings out the best in me, it gives me a better purpose in life , and because I worked as an Aide for special needs children for 7 years I became attached to the children and their families. Working with Donna’s son who has autism and seeing their passion, it makes me want to keep them in my life and help this charity grow. I will also grow as a person as well as make a difference and impact in other people’s lives.
Who is a hero of yours?
My family is my hero, all in their own individual ways. It’s hard for me to choose just one person to be a hero in my life , and I feel like it constantly changes . Different situations bring out different heroes for what I am looking for or needing at the time.
What was your first concert?
