HOW DOES HOME ON THE RANGE IMPACT HEALTH & OPPORTUNITIES?

395 ORGANIC VEGETABLE BOXES DELIVERED

We deliver pallet boxes that our farmers have made bursting with veggies grown organically in Strathcona County

85 EGGS GATHERED

It’s so exciting when the hens lay eggs! The eggs are gathered and used in our baking, or sent home with program participants.

320 VEGETABLES TAKEN HOME

Our participants love to take home the vegetables they have grown and picked, taking the healthy eating experience farther than the farm and into their every day lives.

33 DIFFERENT TYPES OF ORGANIC VEGETABLES PLANTED

In the gardens, we have grown pumpkins, zucchini, cucumbers, yellow beans, kale, Swiss chard, carrots, onions, potatoes, beets and many many more. We are always trying new vegetables to provide more options for healthy eating.

6200 GREEN LEAVES CUT FOR HEALTHY LUNCHES

Throughout the summer we promote living a healthy, active lifestyle on the farm. We enjoy large bowls of freshly cut organic garden salads produced from our own hard work and effort!

170 OUTDOOR GAMES PLAYED

Being on the farm allows for some awesome game time! Program participants love to play badminton, croquet, and giant Jenga.

440 ANIMAL CUDDLES

Probably the best part of days on the farm – no shortage of animal cuddles! We’ve had lambs, bunnies, chickens, miniature horses and kittens on our farm.
